ZOO OF BEAUVAL: A zoo like any other!
How about looking for an atypical animal park?
The Beauval Zoo in the Loir-et-Cher department (41) is an establishment that welcomes animals from all over the world. It is a true concentrate of nature, exoticism and wonders respecting the environment, the protection and conservation of animal species
Created in 1980 by Françoise Delord (actress and singer), this 40-hectare park has evolved over the years to become today one of the most beautiful in the world!
Accompanied by a scientific mediator, you will discover, throughout this route punctuated with unusual activities, exceptional flora and fauna. An immersion in the heart of the equatorial jungle that you will not soon forget!
And for good reason, the Beauval zoo counts a large number of births each year and is home to a huge variety of animals: dwarf hippos, giant otters, pandas, anacondas, golden lion tamarins, Komodo dragons, gorillas, and much more.
In 2017, a unique event will take place in the zoo: the birth of the first baby panda on French soil, named Yuang Meng! Imagine the emotion felt during this meeting.

CHENONCEAU CASTLE: A women’s story
Come and discover this sumptuous castle built in the 16th century located in Indre-et-Loire (37), its floral workshop, its museum collections, its French-style gardens, its flower garden, and its circular labyrinth.
This masterpiece is also called the Ladies’ Castle. Indeed, over the centuries, famous women would follow one another within this French historical monument, Katherine Briçonnet, Diane de Poitiers, Catherine de Médicis, Louise de Lorraine, Louise DUPIN (the first woman to write a Code of Human Rights Woman) Margaret Wilson marries Pelouze.
This building would carry another function during the First World War (1914/1918). The owner Gaston Menier (1855/1934), son of a wealthy industrialist, transformed the Galerie des Dômes into a space dedicated to victims. 2,254 wounded soldiers were treated during this period.
The guided tour of the private Chenonceau Castle, renowned as one of the most famous castles in the Loire Valley and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, remains the most visited building in France.
The abundant interior decoration, the paintings by the great masters, the extremely rare collection of tapestries from Flanders, the gallery on the Cher, the period objects reveal a feminine imprint charged with elegance and transport you to a romantic atmosphere.
AMBOISE: capital of the French Renaissance
Not far from there, Amboise located in the Indre-et-Loire department (37) is full of wonders and anecdotes. The talented Leonardo da Vinci, invited by King François I, stayed at the Clos de Lucé estate until his death in 1519. The Saint-Hubert chapel houses his tomb.

6 am : Travel by a tourist coach with seat belts and air conditioning
7:30 am : Breakfast break on the way
10 am: Estimated time of arrival at Beauval zoo park. You will be greeted by a scientific mediator who will introduce you to the park, among others, the family of pandas including the last born, the land of lions, giraffes, elephants, hippos, the Caribbean lament, the orangutan, the bird world.
6pm : Installation in one of the hotels in Beauval Park for dinner and evening.

9 am : Departure to the famous Chenonceau Castle which also owes its name of Château des Dames thanks to the famous women who have made it one of the jewels of the Loire Valley. Built in the 16th century, this building majestically spans over the Cher.
10 pm : Guided tour of the Chenonceau castle
12 pm : Lunch at the Orangerie restaurant of the castle, you will continue your visit to Chenonceau in an exceptional and refined setting.
2pm : Departure for Amboise, free visit and relaxation of the city.
